Welcome Track & Field Fans!
The Orion Track Club is currently working with elementary and middle school students (grades 3-8) though the Deerfield Park District. The Youth Indoor Track class is held at the Sachs Recreation Center in Deerfield, IL. Below are the details of our program:
Youth Indoor Track - #133060

Learn the basics of what a track and field athlete does in their sport: how to start a race, run in a relay, and complete handoffs. Learn race strategies, conditioning, goal setting, and how to work together as a team. Each session includes proper warm up, running form, and conditioning. The last session is a race night where awards will be given. Parents are welcome to attend the last session. Participants need to wear gym shoes and comfortable clothing for ease in running. Please bring water to each practice.
